You are cordially invited to participate in the Threat Assessment ReGional Evaluation Team (TARGET) Working Group Meeting, Monday, January 28, 2013. The meeting will be held at El Camino College, Alondra Conference Room, 16007 Crenshaw Boulevard, Torrance, California 90506.
TARGET is a multi-disciplinary approach to threat assessment on college and university campuses. In this approach, law enforcement, academia, mental health, and technology partners represent the multi-disciplinary team.
The goal of TARGET is to develop best practices in the identification, assessment, and management of threats to Institutes of Higher Education (IHE).
To achieve this goal, TARGET seeks to identify Subject Matter Experts (SME); share information; and facilitate training.
The meeting will be held from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Check-in will begin at 7:00am. Please print your ticket and bring it with you for check-in. The following topics will be discussed:
- ECC Threat Assessment Overview
- Threat Assessment for Mental Health Clinicians: Stalking Assessment and Intervention
- TARGET Working Group Discussion
